In this tutorial, I give you a full demonstration of Google Wave. I show you how you can sign up, what a wave is, and how to send a wave. Google Wave is currently only in developer’s preview right now, but if you subscribe to me then send me an email at submit@alexleiphart.com I might send you one.
The website is http://wave.google.com and sign in with your Google account. Then click new wave and start typing. You can apply simple rich text styling and send.
This is the hybrid between IM and email. Why? IM is very easy to send, but requires the user to be online to send. Email can be sent any time, but takes longer. Google Wave provides the perfect compromise.
